Raramente capita di recensire album di tale caratura. Gli inglesi Warning si formano nel 1994 in Harlow, Essex e purtroppo si sciolgono nel gennaio 2009. Grave perdita. La voce di Patrick Walker è la chiave del tutto, un lungo vocalizzo che evoca ambientazioni dantesche, doom, anzi Doom...DOOM !!! Cinque canzoni che non vi consiglio se avete inclinazioni depressive, anche passeggere. Lento, distorto, monolitico, monosensazionale, sensazionale. Riff spettrali, senza speranza, masochisti, che trasmettono sensazioni ancestrali, introspettive, oscure, che ti fanno riflettere, ti suggeriscono interrogativi trascendenti. Non v'è pausa, non v'è pace, il tracollo dell'essere. Credo che qualsiasi parola sminuisca il valore dell'album. I Warning sono: Stuart Springthorpe (drums, 1994-2008), John Sellings (bass, 1994-97), Wayne Taylor (bass, 1997-98), Marcus Hatfield (bass), Christian Leitch (drums). I warning sono (erano) una band da non ignorare. Non perdeteli. Una delle pochissime release in grado di farmi venire i brividi negli ultimi anni.

It's really so rare to write a review of such albums. The British Warning were formed in 1994 in Harlow, Essex and unfortunately broke up in January 2009. Great loss. Patrick Walker's voice is the key to everything, a long vocalization reminiscent of Dante's settings, doom, or better still ... Doom...DOOOM! Five songs I would not advise you if you have depressive tendencies, even fleeting. Slow, distorted, monolithic, mono-sensational, sensational. Spectral riffs, hopeless, masochists, which transmit ancestral sensations, introspective, dark, that make you think, that suggest transcendent questions. There is no pause, there is no peace, the being collapse. I think any word demeans the value of the album. The Warnings are: Stuart Springthorpe (drums, 1994-2008), John Sellings (bass, 1994-97), Wayne Taylor (bass, 1997-98), Marcus Hatfield (bass), Chris Leitch (drums). The warnings are (were) a band not to be ignored. Do not miss it. One of the few releases that can make me shudder in recent years.
