Stoner Kebab è un mostro doom che viene da Prato. Apre 'Tom Bombadil' con chiare intenzioni doom, ma mescolate a soluzioni soniche che non distano molto dalla psichedelia moderna. Chitarre lente e pesanti forniscono il supporto ad una voce a tratti sgraziata e lamentosa. Convincono le intrusioni vagamente progressive, meno il risultato finale. Segue 'Viverna' che velocizza lo stesso mood e che presenta lo stesso modo di cantare che non riesco a sopportare, quasi speech. Personalmente, mai piaciuto. Sempre buoni gli interventi da 'digressione' che lo distanziano da gente come Mastodon o Baroness, per farvi un'idea. Belle le tastiere finali. 'Iron Tyrant' inizia con una voce tipica dei mostri cattivi che mettono paura ai bambini. Una colonna sonora dell'orrore che dura quasi 3 minuti. 'Astronavi Domani' è invece la cover dei Pink Floyd. Il miglior pezzo fin'ora. Ascoltatela perché ne vale la pena. Interessante l'armonica di 'Ibuki', che è un secondo brano interessante, poi la voce gutturale risuona con tono cupo e gutturale...cazzo sarà mai successo a Prato !? E' l'attitudine punk-hardcore (in un disco doom ?!?!...direte voi) di alcuni passaggi che mi fanno passare al pezzo successivo. Ancora interessante l'armonica. Certo, al sesto pezzo il peso del disco si comincia a far sentire...Vado con la conclusiva title track imperniata su un accordo cadenzato. Un disco monocorde che non manca di idee, anche se ancora troppo congestionate in qualcosa di troppo sentito e - a tratti - adolescenziale. Buoni i tentativi di personalizzare il tutto ma non li ritengo completamente riusciti perhché troppo legati a stilemi tipici del Doom.

Stoner Kebab is a monster doom that comes from Prato. Opens 'Tom Bombadil' doom with clear intentions, but mixed with sonic solutions that are not far from modern psychedelia. Slow, heavy guitars provide support to a voice sometimes awkward and plaintive. Some intrusions vaguely progressive convince, less the final result. Then we have 'Viverna' that speeds up the same mood and that has the same kind of singing that I can not bear, almost speech. Personally, I never liked. Always good the interventions to diversion that make it distant from people like Mastodon or Baroness, to get an idea. Fine the end of keyboards. 'Iron Tyrant' starts with a typical entry of evil monsters to scare children. A soundtrack of the horror that keeps on about 3 minutes. 'Astronavi Domani' is instead a cover of Pink Floyd. The best piece so far. Listen to it because it's worth it. Interesting harmonic has 'Ibuki', which is a second interesting track, then the voice throaty and guttural sounds somber tone... fucking hell...what's happened in Prato!? Is the hardcore-punk attitude (in a doom record?!?!... you guess...) of some passages that makes me go to the next piece. Still an interesting harmonica. Of course, with the sixth song, the weight of the disc begins to feel... I'm going with the closing title track hinges on a monotonous and cadenced chord...A disc that does not lack ideas, although still too congested in something too heard yet, and - traits - adolescent. Good attempts to customize everything but I think they not completely successful because, may be, still too bonds to styles typical of Doom.

Ah ! The stoner style has nothing to do with the demons of Prato ...
