I tedeschi Vibravoid, ovvero Christian "Dr." Koch (vocals, guitar), Robert "Bender" Braune (drums), M. Lammert (bass), vengono da Düsseldorf e dal 2001 suonano una psichedelia molto sixties. I teutonici giungono alla loro settima release, senza contare gli altrettanti ep, pertanto, non possono essere considerati gli ultimi arrivati. Tra l'altro, nella loro nutrita discografia, possono vantare una collaborazione del 2010 (A Poetry of Love) col signor Richard Elvern Marsh, meglio noto come Sky Saxon, vale a dire la voce ed il basso degli americani Seeds e successivamente degli Sky Saxon and the Seeds. Una fetta non indifferente di psichedelia americana insomma. Non a caso il disco in questione è veramente un salto di quasi 50 anni indietro. Atmosfere di songwriting tipiche della prima metà degli anni sessanta con ovvie e necessarie contaminazioni dei giorni nostri ci accompagnano sin da subito, organo (potrebbe essere un Vox o un Farfisa), chitarre che spaziano dai famosi suoni puliti (allora molto taglienti ma oggi più dolci), distorsioni leggere, mai troppo aggressive, giochi di echo e linee melodiche del tempo. Ascoltate What You Want e fatemi sapere. Il disco è piacevole (considerate che è tratto da un concerto), non stanca nonostante tre pezzi siano sopra i 15 minuti e - sostanzialmente - ci fanno ascoltare la musica di allora se fosse stata registrata con i mezzi attuali. Se avete confidenza col genere non mancatelo.

The album is nice (it is taken from a concert), not boring at all despite three pieces are above 15 minutes and - basically - we do listen to music of that time if it had been recorded with current facilities. If you are familiar with the genre is not to be missed.
