I Da Captain Trips vengono da Piacenza, Busto Arsizio ed incidono per la Desert Fox Records di Piacenza, che sarebbe l'etichetta dei più noti Oak's Mary. Cavitos (guitar), Peppo (bass), Sappah (drums) ci propongono una sorta di psichedelia chitarristica piacevole all'ascolto. Collegati a vario titolo con gli stessi Oak's Mary e con i Midryasi si muovono in un territorio che spazia dalla jam band ad un soft quasi-stoner  godibile, pezzi strumentali e ricerca del groove, che non guasta mai. Suoni a la QOFTA più leggeri, soli di chitarra lunghi con delay e distorsione non esagerata. Leaving the Mainland, probabilmente, è il loro pezzo più riuscito. Un gruppo, insomma, votato a 'suonare insieme' con approccio kraut e groove americano. Ad inficiare la sicura godibilità potenziale dell'album rimane l'innegabile fatto che tutti e quattro i pezzi sono suonati, diciamo, per cazzi propri,  con libertà di esecuzione rispetto alla velocità metronomica. The Captain Trips are from Piacenza, Busto Arsizio and they recordered for the Desert Fox Records of Piacenza, which would be the label of the most famous Oak's Mary. Cavitos (guitar), Peppo (bass), Sappah (drums) offer us a kind of listenable psychedelic-improvisative guitar sound. Variously challenged with the same Oak's Mary and the Midryasi they move into a territory that ranges from jam band to a quasi-soft enjoyable stoner, instrumental pieces and searching for the groove, which never hurts. Sounds in the lighter QOFTA  mood, long guitar solos and not exaggerated distortion with delay. 'Leaving the Mainland', probably, is their most successful song. One group, in fact, voted to 'play along' with an American approach, and kraut groove. To affect the potential enjoyment of the album is the undeniable fact that all four pieces are played, we say, 'on their cocks', with freedom to run respect to the metronome speed.
