Gli Electric Orange non sono proprio gli ultimi arrivati. Si agitano sui propri strumenti dal lontano 1992 e contano, ad oggi, quasi una ventina di album... Che musica fanno i tedeschi ? Kraut-rock. Infatti i 'ragazzi' di Aachen oscillano tra prog e kraut, come da tradizione. L'album del 2010 - Krautrock From hell - è un disco che va ascoltato più di una volta per essere apprezzato. I primi due brani, 'Bandwurm' e 'Sundos' ci fanno subito capire il terreno kraut calcato dai teutonici. Prog e Kraut. Ma senza picchi particolari. Non tolgono né regalano nulla a quanto detto sin'ora. Dal terzo brano, 'Chorg (Cpt. Gyrok's)', invece, le cose cambiano piacevolmente. Un bel giro di synth ci fa muovere la testa, il groove della batteria, non sempre preciso, è comunque piacevole e coinvolgente, nonostante la sezione ritmica suoni spesso un po' troppo 'indietro'. Bello anche il finale, molto rilassato con chitarre ed echo. 'Hers' è il quarto brano, un incrocio tra sperimentalismo noise e i Motorpsycho seconda maniera. Buono, ma non eccitante, poiché il beat dei 4 brani ascoltati sin'ora è quasi sempre identico a se stesso. 'Kunstkopf' si sviluppa su un mood di synth niente male, che ricorda - da lontano - qualcosa di dark ambient suonato con intenzione analogica. Anche 'Neuronomicon' è un bel pezzo, forse il migliore del disco. Kraut ma anche avanguardia, 25 minuti (dico '25') di delirio sonico...ricordano qualcosa dei Void Generator.
'Wurmloch' è l'ultimo pezzo che non si discosta da quanto esposto in precedenza, 15 minuti di elettrokrautprog senza sosta. In definitiva, un buon disco, ma non eccelle poiché i tentativi di estremizzare la proposta sonica rimangono, da una parte, troppo simili nello scorrere dei pezzi, ed in secondo luogo mancano di un acuto che possa in qualche modo rilassare e/o eccitare, o comunque, mettere in risalto i vari momenti psychedelici, troppo statici nel loro complesso.

What kind of music do the Germans? Kraut-rock. Indeedt, the 'boys' from Aachen oscillate between prog and kraut, as usual. The album of 2010 - Krautrock From hell - is a record that should be listened more than once to be appreciated. The first two tracks, 'Bandwurm' and 'Sundos' make us understand the kraut ground trodden by the Teutonic. Kraut and Prog. But no particular peaks. Do not give nor take away anything to what has been said so far. From the third track, 'Chorg (Cpt. Gyrok's)', however, things change nicely. A nice synth riff makes us shake our head, the groove of the drums, not always accurate, it is pleasant and engaging, despite the often rhythmic section sounds a bit 'too' backward '. Lovable the ending too, very relaxed with guitars and echo. 'Hers' is the fourth track, a cross between noise experimentalism and Motorpsycho second manner. Good, but not exciting, as the beat of the 4 tracks played so far is almost identical to himself. 'Kunstkopf' spread over a not bad synth mood, that reminds - from a distance - something of dark ambient played with analog intention. Also 'Neuronomicon' is a beautiful piece, may be the best of the platter. Kraut also avantgarde, 25 minutes (say '25 ') of sonic delirium ... they remember something of the Void Generator. 'Wurmloch' is the last piece that does not differ from those outlined above, 15 minutes of never ending elettrokrautprog. Ultimately, a good record, but does not stand out as attempts to exaggerate the sonic proposal remain, on the one hand, too much similar over scrolling the songs and secondly, lack an acute can somehow relax and/or excite, or however, highlight the various psychedelic moments too static in their entirety.
