          I texani Duel si presentano al pubblico con una release fatta di rock and roll suonato in modo piuttosto approssimativo, una copertina con un teschio in primo piano, un approccio alla Hellacopters con venature doom. Una sorta di passerella di stereotipi messi lì in modo non proprio perfetto.

          La domanda è: perché continuiamo a farci del male ?

          Texans Duel reveal to the public by a release made of Rock and Roll not so well-played, a cover with the Grim Reaper at the first floor, an Hellacopters approach with some doomish nuances.

          The question is: why do we still continue to hurt ourselves ?

Brimstone Coven - Black Magic (2016)

2016 CD Metal Blade

Brimstone Coven was a very promising American band.
Most of the writers/listeners called their style as Traditional Doom Metal.
Well, after a very good eponymous album, some really good stuff, they have recorded for the well-known label Metal Blade.
Nowadays 9 out of 10 bands plays common music, already done, styled yet sounds, older things, on and on.
Black Magic sounds like the same old stuff, not only to the old/traditional style (Slow Death), but even to the same band (Black Magic, The Seers).
If you think that great labels should bring something better that underground ones
you are wrong.
Black magic has only one color, a long album having only one sensation, beat, mood,
and this is not good...a delusion.
