Gli Ivy Garden Of The Desert - Diego (guitar, vocals), Paolo (bass), Andrea (drums) -  sono un terzetto di Montebelluna che incidono per la tedesca Nasoni. Le sonorità corrono tra i Samsara Blues Experiment, i Colour Haze e la voce di Straccione degli Zippo. Chitarre impostate stoner, senza mai suonarlo, con obiettivo groove, triste a tratti. Il risultato è apprezzabile. Spendiamo due parole su un aspetto troppo spesso tralasciato. Apre il disco con una song strumentale e, da subito, si notano l'approssimazione con la quale è stata curata l'esecuzione. Non che io sia un fan di Vai o di Kotzen, ma una esecuzione di questo livello si riflette sulla godibilità del lavoro (e non mi riferisco alla chitarra). Almeno per chi ha orecchie per sentire. Più ascolti musica più affini l'orecchio, più affini più comprendi, più comprendi, più rompi il cazzo...Ottimo l'intro acustico simil Sabbath di Hang Glider che, nella parte centrale, riporta a qualcosa dei Motorpsycho col suo intramontabile ritmo di 3 su 4, come direbbe il batterista più smaliziato...echi di Monster Magnet. Torniamo su toni più tirati con la conclusiva I. Una sorta di mix americano nella musica ed europeo nella voce. Un lungo piacevole groove di 10 minuti. Il disco non è male, nulla di nuovo, ma detto in maniera sufficientemente convincente, sono sicuro che, anche con una produzione più accurata, i ragazzi veneti possano migliorare parecchio.   

The Ivy Garden Of The Desert - Diego (guitar, vocals), Paul (bass), Andrew (drums) - are a trio of Montebelluna signin' for the German Nasoni Records. The sound runs from Samsara Blues Experiment, Colour Haze and the voice of the Zippo. Guitars stoner set, never playing that, sad at times. The result is commendable. We spend two words on an aspect too often overlooked. Opens the disc with an instrumental song, now, you see the rough with which the execution was done. Not that I'm a fan of Vai or Kotzen, but a run of this level is reflected in the enjoyment of the work (and I'm not referring to the guitar). At least for those who have ears to hear. The more you listen music the more develop your ear, the more developing the more you understand, the more you understand the more more you...ehm ...'break the cock around'. Very good  the acoustic intro of Hang Glider Sabbath styled, in the middle back to something of Motorpsycho with its timeless rhythm of 3 on 4, as would say the most experienced drummer...echoes of Monster Magnet here and there. They return to more rock feel with the final 'I'. A sort of mix of American music and European vocals. A nice 10 minutes long groove. The disc is not bad, nothing new, but said in a sufficiently convincing, I'm sure that with a more accurate production too, the guys from Veneto can improve a lot.
